  18. suddenly, everything works: more than one lynx session, the arrow keys
  19. work perfectly, and i have done nothing to account for this.
  20. presumably something has been reconfigured at the remote unix node.
  21. to my knowledge, the arrow keys have never worked properly with kermit
  22. and lynx, at either of my full internet access providers, before now...
  23. in case of future trouble, i am now armed with joe doupnik's suggestions.
